Brothers
These are my brothers (Russell, Rome and Reece) and me. This photo was taken at Seven Corners, Crowne Plaza, after Rome’s UST Medicine graduation.
In a deal, we don’t always get to pick the cards we want. Luck plays a big part on the probabilities.
If today’s preceptorial session is compared to a card game, like poker, I would have gone all out, thinking it’d be a win, but actually leave with nothing just after the first deal. Today was bad. Remember last night, I (my groupmates too) worked on this > http://robirobster.tumblr.com/post/18072425513. This morning we were accused of obtaining our diagnosis from upper class interns. It was really painful to hear. I barely slept to assess this complicated patient, with multiorgan symptomatology. Getting the information from the patient was difficult to start with. I actually thought she was referred from psych. But what can I do. It’s over and done. I would just have to charge to it experience. This might actually be a preview of what’s coming ahead.
What made me worried was that, it might take a toll on my hanging medicine grade. I really have to put extra effort for 6th long and final exams. I’m claiming it, I’ll be an intern this April, 38 days to go. I want this bad! Please help me pray for it.
Just a side story, Reece has cough, and the only way to give him medicine is by force or sometimes mixing it with cola(he easily finds out). But this afternoon, with my convincing powers, and limited medical skills, I was able to make him drink his medicine very calmly, without force. Good job for me, hahaha. :)

Exams were extra tough this week, and it isn’t over yet. I’ll have two more tomorrow then weekend. Our family’s probably gonna spend time at the wake… and celebrate Reece’s birthday.
Here’s my new FB DP, Reece’s latest photo. Add me up > http://www.facebook.com/robirobsteromero
Advanced happy birthday Reece! ;)

Not a Very Happy Place
Boys and girls, mag-ingat kayo sa mga magnanakaw. My mom almost lost her bag today. This happened earlier at Jollibee Tycoon Center Pearl Drive. She was helping out my brother Reece with his chicken, when a man tapped her, telling her, she dropped her money. After looking at the spot where the man pointed, my mom quickly realized that the man was really interested with her bag. She checked right away and saw the man walking away with her bag. She stood up swiftly, ran after the man who was already outside Jollibee, then shouted, ‘Bag ko yan!’. Luckily, the man just dropped her bag and left as if nothing happened. No one from Jollibee helped her. Worst is, the manager who was on duty, just said, “Wala namang nawala.” Buti na lang talaga, nothing bad happened. Ingat, ingat.
